We love all of our partners!
Blast N Scrap partners with local mutual aid groups, nonprofits, and organizations that provide resources to the community and work to make the world a better place. You can find tables set up at our events from some of the groups listed below. We encourage our community to lean on each other and utilize resources available through mutual aid exchanges. Solidarity not charity!
Northern Colorado Access Point
Northern Colorado Access Point offers a plethora of services. Through them you’ll be able to setup appointments for free STI testing, acquire free condoms, gain access to fentanyl test strips & Narcan, navigation to PrEP (daily HIV prevention medication), info on mental health counseling, & other community resources (insurance, shelter, food security, legal, etc.). We are all in this together, & harm reduction is imperative to keeping each other safe, while being supportive of those who need help by making these tools readily available.
Punk Rock Saves Lives
Punk Rock Saves Lives is a 501c3 nonprofit that focuses on wellness and equality within our community through music. Look for their table at our Blast N Bowl events to sign up with the national bone marrow registry and learn more about their organization.
Clothe the People
Clothe the People is a local mutual aid group that helps redistribute clothing, hygiene products, and food to the unhoused community and others who are in need. Bring clothing donations to any Blast N Scrap event or join the Facebook group below to get involved.
Vindeket Foods
Vindeket Foods is a non-profit food rescue that partners with grocery stores, restaurants and farms to reduce wasted food. They are a no-cost market open to anyone, powered by community members working together to revalue food and one another. Vindeket is run for the community by the community. To support the mission, you can volunteer your time or donate financially.
Food Not Bombs
Fort Collins
Food is a right for every person and Food Not Bombs embodies this by distributing healthy meals to neighbors and community members experiencing food insecurity and houselessness. They will be collecting non-perishable foods during our events. Bring any food you would like to donate to the cause or that would otherwise go to waste. To follow their events and keep up with donation needs, like them on Facebook.
Weld County Mutual Aid
Weld County Mutual Aid has been providing mutual aid to the Weld County community since November 2021. They mainly provide food, clothing, and hygiene products to our unhoused neighbors and anyone else in our community in need. They’re just folks helping folks.
